My husbands Uncle was in the 4th Battilion of the Seaforth Highlanders in WW1. He was a Sergeant. He lived in Gairloch Scotland up to the war. We know he was wounded with shrapnel in the head and suffered with blackouts after the war. He ended up living in London until he died. Would anyone have any information or war records of him. Thank you

Thank you Kath for all your very interesting information, I have checked his birth date and he was born in 1894 in Chicago. His father was a ship owner so his mother and father went to America for a while and he was born there. They came back and lived in Gairloch. Thanks again Sandra x
