As long as you have his date of birth you are OK. It starts asking for the service number but I know of people who have just sent DOB and received the docs. They just want some way of identifying the person especially with common names. :-) |

Yes, Pat is right. I managed to get both my father's and my father-in-law's army records without knowing their service numbers. However that was probably 10 years ago so things might have changed by now. |
