Hi my mother was a typist in the services ,and has told me she had a friend called peter Heap (or Heep) does anyone have any information on him please ?She lost contact when he has transferred apparently

What branch of the services was your mother in?

If a Major in British Forces, then either Army or Royal Marines.

Where did they serve together - there may be an "old boys" network for the place.

What else does your mother remember about him.
