WW2 service records are not online and are still with the MOD. Have a look here to see how to order them:-

https://www.gov.uk/guidance/request-records-of-deceased-service-personnel

Cost is £30 and there is quite a long wait to receive them (several months).

Am looking for some help with any military records for my husbands Grandfather. His name is Frederick George James Davies born 3/10/1916 in London Rotherhithe. He has pictures of him in uniform but we are coming up blank in any military searches we do. Family members seem to think he was based in Singapore maybe as a dispatch rider. If you can find anything or could advise us where to look or write to we would appreciate it greatly.
