Could anyone access military records for me as I am looking for Joseph Steadman, Aircraft Engineer who served in Burma, India, Reykjavik. Unfortunately this is all the information i have at the moment. Thanks for any help

yes it is WW2 that I'm looking at. Joseph was born in 1914 in Birmingham. He has no middle name and is causing me quite a few problems in looking for him.in the family tree too. Ill try and find out some more information about his time in the RA.F Thanks for your help.ArgyllGran

One assumes you know his exact DoB,which you will probably need to supply if you request his record

oh thanks for the info about death certificate, I think another family member has the certificates and it is this person who I am hoping will have more information but as they are elderly the memory isnt too good

If the WW2 Records are not available online - is it possible to actually view them in person and if so where?
