Can't help you on this one but a if you have many Norfolk ancestors, try freereg (www.freereg.org.uk/) for baptisms and marriages. They have quite good coverage for Norfolk although nothing yet for Lynn (doesn't even appear in list of parishes) or Gayton but it is being updated regularly.

Hi, not sure if I can help. Have CD of marriages for Norfolk 1801-1837.

You were looking for a marriage of Thomas Taylor to a Sarah ?

These are the only marriages of a Thomas to a Sarah (1801-1837).

Sarah Brett 18/10/1810 Fincham
Sarah Chapman 12/12/1815 Norwich St Margaret's
Sarah Hardy 11/3/1823 Wymondham
Sarah Hawes 13/11/1826 Southburgh
Sarah Goldson 1/1/1836 Hackford Nr Hingham

then there is a Thomas Brown Taylor married to Sarah Blackbourn 19/8/1818 Norwich St Augustine's.

If you have a particular parish I can look at for surname Taylor, let me know and I will see what names I can find.

Dee

If it is Gayton/Gayton Thorpe you are looking for. There are only two marriages in Gayton surname Taylor 1801-1837:

Mary Taylor & Boston Bullman 10/10/1803
&
Sarah Taylor & Edward Balls 24/12/1804
sisters I would presume.

Other parishes listed are:
West Lynn
South Lynn
Kings Lynn St Margaret's
Kings Lynn St Nicholas
all of which have Taylors married in them

Thanks for the offer of help (but have just noticed the dates)
I have found a copy of 1851 census and I believe the Thomas taylor who I,m seeking is lodging with Sarah Runne who was born in Congham norfolk. on a copy of the 1881 census Thomas and sarah and family are listed and it states Sarah was born in Cougham, putting 2 and 2 together I've guess it is the same person.
The only possible marriage i've found is sept quarter
1851 thomas taylor and Sarah Ransom are listed on the same page.
I'm looking in the King's lynn district because that is where thomas was living in1851 also where his first child was born. (believe it could be St Margaret)
if you are able to shed any more light on the subject I would be most grateful.

Sarah ann was the first born dates are confusing,if I have found the correct birth record it implies 1851 sept quarter but the 1861 census implies she was 13 then.
