im looking for a francis william tinker born c1830 in hyde, cheshire on the 1851 he is refered to as frank tinker .. cotton merchant and a visitor, have him on the 1861 living with his mother mary, still living in cheshire.
his parents are mary (nee aston) born mottram, cheshire c1796 and william tinker. any help gratefully recieved as i've been trying to find this chap all day and no luck

thank you all for your replies, in 1862 he changed his surname to his mother's maiden name aston, have all the censuses for him in both aston and tinker apart from the 1841, .. think i will just have to go in to a longer search and presume the spelling was really bad on the census .. lucky me ha ha!
