Hi Lynne think the family remained in the northeast as they had a family there. They had a son in 1852 in Walker, Tynemouth Newcastle. With the info from Madbull and SylviainaCanada your 1841 census looks good. Really appreciate your help. John |

Well, there is this John Jones born out of county (1841 doesn't usually give birthplace). He is a gunner?? In a barracks anyway. |

Looking for a Jane simpson born in Scotland abt.1818 and a John jones born in Wales abt 1819. Expect they were living in Newcastle upon Tyne at this time. They were married there in 1845. Any help very much appreciated. John |
