Hi Richard, Maria Ransom was born in Sudbury Suffolk but had moved to Haverhill suffolk in the 1881 census where she was a widow and I am trying to establish if she was still alive in 1891 her daughter Maria would have been 24 and her son Ed Issac would have been 34 but there again on some things like her marriage cert. her name was spelt RANSOM and on others it was spelt RANSON so i am not sure .Her son Ed Issac was born in Sudbury and would have been 34 in 1891 her daughter Maria was born in Haverhill and would be 24 in the 1891 census. I cannot find a death cert. for her and thought she might be still alive in 1891. thanking you Margaret
