I have not seen my dad in 20 years & about 3 weeks ago I joined genes connected & through the help of other people on this site giving me information I found him yesterday. It was very emotional he's been trying to find me for years but I moved around alot with my husbands job. The funny thing is he only lives an hour away & we are going to meet up. My grandma I never knew phoned me from Canada to say she's been looking for me too. I am so grateful for this site. Since typing the above I have met my dad & other relatives I never knew I had. They have all been looking for me for years & thanks to genes my uncle & cousin have both contacted me. I'm so happy to have all these new relatives. |
