Hi everyone, For about 3 or 4 years I have been trying to find a link with my fathers brother William Bloomfield b 1882 who emigrated to Australia in the early 1900s. I was getting no results from anywhere and a few weeks ago I posted the scant details that I already had on the 'trying to find board'. A lovely lady in Australia wrote to me, although she was not linked with my family. She had gone to the bother of looking up details in Australia ref Uncle William and she found his details of his enlistment in the AIF in 1914 and from this info I was able to find out so much more about him and wish I had put a message on here years ago. Many thanks to you, Thelma
