Member Since: January 2005 Posts: 1 Send Message	Thanx to Genes reunited I got to find my birth family!!! It started off as a long shot, as so many other searches had resulted in, until I came across a name that could only be the person I was looking for, my husband convinced me to pay the subscription, I'm rather tight with money and believed I could find who I wanted by myself!! As soon as I'd paid I contacted the person who'd put the name on here and after my 1st initial enquiry I got a reply asking me if I was .....the name given to me by my birth mother!!!! I knew!! I'd found my half brother!!!! We had contact over the phone & internet & texts and an arrangement to meet my birth mother was made. This happened in March 2006 & since then I have met all my brothers & sisters, My birth mother & her partner and I couldn't have dreamt of such a positive welcome!! One of the best parts was finding out that I had not been a secret. I want to express oodles of gratitude for Genes reunited for allowing me the opportunity ..in my very 1st email as a subscriber...to find my birth family... THANK YOU!!!!!
