Once it has been recieved as an attachement to an email, you can save it were ever you want.

Bear in mind that it is sent as a gedcom file, and you will need an offline tree programme to open/make any sense of it. However, you can upload it to another FH site.

Notes and any attachements you currently have will probably get lost.

BTW - a COPY is sent - the original stays here unless you delete it.
