NS, How much time I have and how I chose to use that time is my business,

You have no idea what so ever as to what my personal circumstances are,

As you have addressed your post 08:47 to me, Would you care to remove your remark "How weird and freaky" I find being called such as offensive

NanaSue ...............

a lot of us use C&P most of the time, copying over to the hard drive ............... it's very easy, and quick, and is often the only way to remember what we posted that was then RR'd .............. because, as PP noted, GR do not always tell you what you said.

If we don't know, or cannot remember what we said, how on earth can we obey the T&Cs and not repeat the behaviour ................... or how can we appeal the decision to GR if we feel that we have been treated unfairly, either by GR or the person who RR'd?

There has been a lot of malicious reporting on the Boards over the last months and years ............... and it makes for a very unpleasant experience.

I think you calling it "weird and freaky" or nit-picky is unwarranted.

Wonders Roy - do you really have the time to copy. paste and refer back all the time. Where do you save all the garbage on your pc or have the time to analyise it all. That is nit-picking to the extreme. How weird and freaky

I take the boards to be light hearted especially in the chat room. Once it is gone it is gone - I don't remember or careless about most of it. I don't need to clutter my brain with mindless information.

Yes the genealogy research is serious stuff I know but................

I'm absolutely flabbergasted - :-D :-D :-D :-D

NS, Please don't start making wild accusations re "This is real wooden spoon stirring thread"

This thread was started because it is IMO and as indicated above by other members that threads/posts have been RR'd maliciously and it's aimed at GR for them to take decisive action to stop the constant unjustifiable RRing

copy and paste only takes a couple of seconds when you are proficient with a mouse as I am so as I said above my copy and paste works just fine and uses minimal effort

Roy

Edit, when posts are RR'd its always handy to have a copy to check if your post was indeed RR'd legitimately, Because we cannot always remember exactly word for word what we have posted, More so when posting on a regular basis because GR do not always let you have a copy of the text in the post that was reported if upheld

This is real wooden spoon stirring thread - not sure who the target is.

Copy and pasting - wonders - who has the time or the inclination to save what they write on a chat thread.

Joy Report 25 Jun 2013 18:26

Ken, I have received an apology from GR; it seems that the thread was removed in error. Phil Moir has been asked to reinstate the thread.

Kense Report 25 Jun 2013 16:21

nameslessone

LadyScozz Report 25 Jun 2013 02:24

oooooooooooh!

I don't remember what I said last night

Was it horrible?????????

I've been a member of GR for nearly seven years, haven't been reported until now........and at least six in one day!!!

Who will get a "you are naughty" letter? Me or the reporter?

what childishness!

Porkie_Pie

Porkie_Pie Report 24 Jun 2013 16:42

As ive said on previous threads, if the person wants to waste their time reporting me fine,

I will just continue to repost until GR decide otherwise so click away my copy and paste works just fine and uses minimal effort

So when they deleted my thread to stop further unpleasantness it was to stop the posters but not Trigger Finger!

Isn't Trigger Finger being unpleasant????

Yes Ann it is, plus DC (neePP)

I can only repeat what is said in my post 7 May 2013 18:57

We were told that Malicious reporting would be severely dealt with and any member found to be guilty would be removed from the site but it continues
