I'm not sure what the rules are re; the display of the poppy on a website but I know that here in Canada protocol says that the poppy that we wear on our lapel should be removed at sunset on Nov. 11th.

I feel that the display of the poppy here after sunset on Nov. 16th. is rather disrespectful.

Odd they can do that, yet not deal with the rr's!

Not really,it should be possible to remove the poppy by a simple input. Putting it there is a little more involved. However processing reported posts is much more difficult especially where controversial topics are involved.

It is no wonder they often take the easy option of removing a thread completely and omit the nicities of emailing the offenders.
