Hello and thank you for your responses. :-)

My Great Grandparents' names were Albert James Lee and Jane Williams.

Albert was a British subject born in USA in 1857.

Jane was born in Flintshire in 1857.

In the 1881 census they were both 24 years old and had two sons.

By the 1901 census Jane was aged 44 and was a widow with 8 children.


I can find no trace of their marriage.

Any help would be appreciated.

if you give us some details maybe someone will check for you. There are a no of reasons such as spelling for instance.

I have found my Great Grandparents listed in the the 1881 census as married but can't find any records of their marriage.
Any ideas?
