Find Ancestors

JOHNATHON KID APPLEBY.
I am trying to find any info on the above mans family. I was told he went to Egypt with his wife Florence Harborn. Out their they had a daughter also called Florence circa 1905. They apparently came back to Hertfordshire England and had 2 sons, Henry c 1910 and Gordon Harbourn Appleby.
Iv also been told that Jonathon and his wife went back to Egypt and lived in the Presidental Palace. They are now supposidly buried in a cemetry out there.
Any more information would be wonderful. Thank you.

Is this their son Gordon harborn Appleby born 12/8/1911 died feb 1994 in luton Bedfordshire.

Yes you are right. Gordon was my Grandfather by marriage. His son Peter Malcolm Appleby 4/6/1941 married my mother Patricia Frances Hourd 30/4/1942

Was this the marriage of Gordon H Appleby to Dorothy E M Furr nee Cook in Bedfordshire O/N/D 1938 3b 875

Dorothy E M Cook married in Hertfordshire 1929 O/N/D 3a 1930 to Arthur F Furr.

What else should I be looking for?

I couldn't find Jonathan in 1911 census.

There is a Mr J K Appleby on the incoming passenger lists (london) on Ancestry- I don't have access, perhaps someone else can put the details up for you.

2 children born to the Dorothy E M Cook and arthur F Furr were Trevor A Furr born hitchin hertfordshire A M J 1931 3a 1341
Muriel E Furr J/A/S 1933 3a 1218.

As you know Gordon had Peter 1941 and Pauline 1943 both in Luton.
