i would appreciate anyone who can help me,i have done some research on my husbands side of the family, his fathers name was george leslie bainbridge born 5/1/1923 -from this i have found his father albert edward bainbridge born march 1873 in new shilan durham aged 8 his residence was 2,cradock terrace shildan durham aged 18 his residence was tinkle street ,i presume still in shildan durham,he was an apprentice draper apparently my husbands uncle said he was from the bainbridge family who had a large store in newcastle called bainbridges, but dont know if this is a true account,at 28yrs in 1900 was supposed to of been married to margeret barker in holy trinity, yorkshire england residence was 238 hessle road possibly still in yorkshire england, occupation draper which seems to be right, but here,s where it gets confusing all my husbands father and brothers and sisters mother was elizabeth ann robinson.can anyone sort this mess out for me and put me on the right tracks again thank you to anyone for any info or could lookup for me |
