Trying to find ancestors of George Cary b 1854 Asgarby West Fen Lincolnshire. He was my great grandfather. Think his father may have been Richard possibly married to Sarah. Any help appreciated

Have you found him in any censuses? If so, which ones?

Was it George that was married to Sarah, or Richard?

Do you have any idea when George married? The marriage cert will give you his father's name.

Have you looked on FreeBMD?

Thanks for all replies - sorry for ambiguity in original query, but later replies have sadly only confirmed what had already found from BMD, Censuses and Familysearch.
Have got back to Richard and Rebecca (in fact contacted Lincolnshire FHS and they confirmed), but then become stuck.
Find in 1841 a Rebecca Carey widow farming in Asgarby Fen and possible death 1848.
Think Richard may have died 1828 (papers from an ancestor state this but not coroborated - they also state sons were William, Richard and Thomas - but these don't tally with 1841 census for Rebecca - and papers mention a grandson Samuel who I haven't found. This detail was supposedly found from Richard's (d1828) will.)
