It is a bit unusual I must say - she is clearly under maiden name 1901 though the transcriber has mistakenly put Chapman. How strange.

I've posted it for you!

Are you completely sure you have the right George Chapman? Who of his children is your next in line?

There appears to be several George Chapmans that's why I ask.

jax

jax Report 6 Jul 2010 13:46

Is'nt the one Astra gave you the 1891 for them?

Gender: Male
Where born: Hornby, Yorkshire, England

Civil parish: Auckland St Andrews
Ecclesiastical parish: Auckland St Andrews

Registration district: Auckland

Margaret Report 6 Jul 2010 13:50

Thanks Astra
So they are saying they are married in 1891, not married 1901 and married in 1911. As they were married in 1890 the children must be hers so if there was a bigamist marraige it doesnt look like there was any children
Thanks mags
