looking to find the parents of john clampett he married in 1949 to a natalie blount,they married in basford area

The marriage certificate will tell you his father's name and that would likely make it possible to locate the parents' marriage.

Have you checked back to your thread about Ralph Thompson, I think it was.

If you do know anything else about the people you are asking about it is always a good idea to tell it.

Have you looked for a possible birth for John, it seems the name would not be too common I would think.

Researching:
the 'Walking Madonna' at Salisbury Cathedral ... if genes members find your family do thank them by name on the Success Stories board !
