Trying to find some information on the family of a George Hall, born about 1834 in Chatton, Northumberland. Geoge was a Tailor, who at first was an apprentice to a Robert Brewis, then on the 1861 census, I found him in London, with a James Wilson, also born in Northumberland, and was a tailor. It has George was James's nephew, which is correct, as George's mother was a Rachel Wilson. On the 1871 Census George was married, wife Mary born Belford, Northumberland, and had 2 children, James N and Rachel W, both born St Pancras, Middlesex. On the 1881 Census, Mary was in Belford, and a widow, and there was 3 children, James, Racehl and Robert.B. Would like to find something on them. |

Dear David, Many thaks for replying to my request regarding George Hall, I apologise for not replying sooner, but I thought Genes Reuinted notified people when a reply had been posted, I have just found out this is not so. I have all that information, but will keep trying, I now have access to the 1911 census so will see what I can find out. Bev |
