Find Ancestors

I am trying to find the family of Mary Maria Lewis. She was born Cardiff 1859 Jul-Aug-Sep Volume 11a Page 234.

She married Alfred Luker 7th July 1878 Cardiff Jul-Aug-Sep Vol 11a Page 310.

The marriage certificate states that her father was Edward Lewis (deceased) Draper. One of the witnesses was a Daniel Lewis, a brother or uncle I assume!

I can find no other record of the Lewis family in census returns etc. I would love to find her mother and any other relatives. Can anyone help me please?

Thanks for all your help. I am still working my way through it all, but your information is invaluable to me.

Paul who found Mary Maria burial index, my family still live in Courtney Road, Splott!

I am still a bit confused as there appears to be another Alfred Luker who was born in Crowmarsh Gifford 1846 and married a Jemima Tubb. The two seem to keep getting mixed up. I will sort it out one day though.
