Donna you do not want to delete any of the threads now as there is info on all of them. What I think you need to do is contact support and ask them to merge the threads.

I will paste this post onto each of them

so You actually have the marriage cert for Dominic & Kate/Catherine.

good, what were the witnesses names?
how old was Dom and what does it say his occupation is.
Ditto Kate/Catherine.

Who raised Corlean, and where?kate & Dominic or someone else?
What about the other children, who raised them?

Who did Dominic marry?
Kate Sweeny, or Catherine Sweeney?

Eringobragh1916

Eringobragh1916 Report 26 Jul 2012 19:23

Also bear in mind that the time frame you mention covers some of the period of WW1 and as such both Dominic and his father (if still alive ) would possibly have been placed in an Internment Camp if they were Italian.

Hi Donna, could you clarify some facts, please?

You're now asking about Dominic Martin born 1891 whereas all the info on the previous page is about Dominic Martin born c1883.

You're saying they were born Italy but the census suggests otherwise (some say Leeds).

What certificates do you have to verify the information you have so far?

You're also saying that Dominic and Kate travelled together to Canada saying they were cousins. From what I can see, Dominic travelled alone and said he was going to his "cousin" Ms M Sweeney - I thought he'd abandoned Kate?
