The surname will be Mead. He may not be married at this time but I think his name start with the letter W and I dont know how old Arthur is but he must have wrote to his dad as one card to him says his letter went astray but he got it in the end as his mum did not put the address on correctly.

I have some postcards dated about 1915 from a man whose name I do not know to his wife in Waterside Chesham and there was one to a Arthur Mead. One card says Dear Arthur so wondered if this was his son. The only clue to the wife is one card says Mrs W Mead 320 Waterside, Chesham Bucks. Trying to find someone at this address. another card says Master A Mead same address

on the card to his wife it just says dear wife and sign dad which is how I think they used to put things in those days

any help you can give me off the 1911 census would be great but there were a lot of Meads in Amersham which is the district for Chesham
