Thanks

1911?
SCHULTZ, Mary Head Widow F 50 1861 St Pauls Croy Kent
SCHULTZ, John Son Single M 19 1892 Assistant In Woollen Warehouse Whitechapel
SCHULTZ, Edward Son Single M 16 1895 Pattern Hand In Woollen Trade Whitechapel
RG number: RG14 Piece: 1495 Reference: RG14PN1495 RG78PN52 RD18 SD2 ED19 SN162
Registration District: Whitechapel Sub District:
Whitechapel Enumeration District: 19 Parish: St Botolph Without Aldgate
Address: 72 and 73 Katherine Buildings Cartwright St Whitechapel E County: London

Possibly, John is in an orphanage in 1901, and Edward is with his mother (married) and sister in 1901

Added, this is probably wrong then, if he is still alive.

Jochem is still alive on the certificate and his profession is down as builder and contractor

The residence for John is down as 18 Great Barlow Street Marylebone and his profession is Carpenter and something else but the second part is unreadable.

Is Jochem still alive on the marriage certificate, and what are their professions. and any other information?
Thanks

It's rather possible that they could be from abroad.

Unfortunately I'm unable to afford to upgrade my account to get 1911 census at the moment. I've however searched the 1901 census and couldn't find anything on them on that one either.

The names sound foreign to me - do you know whether they may be from abroad?

Have you found them on the 1911 censuses?

Jack Report 24 Jun 2010 23:34

I've just received the marriage certificate for my gg grandparents florence r witt and john scholtz in march 1919. It says that he was 26 and she was 33 and the wedding was in marylebone. It has the grooms father down as Jochem Cornelius Scholtz and brides father as Ambrose Witt. I can't find any birth information for John or Jochem. Anyone know where I should look next I'm really not having much luck.

Thanks

Jack
