hi Sablon thanks for your e-mail and interset..
re ellen i need all the help i can get, that,s why i was hoping her siblings relations who she LEFT in battersea back in 1912,would/could contact me and throw light on why ellen left the area age 17 1912,was she pregnant.
ellen was not married and not living in battersea in 1914,so she did not leave nbattersea 1912 to marry, but then she was only 17.and only 19 in 1914,.
1914 the scent goes cold.only ellen.s family can answer the missing years and why she acted like she did.

Someone needs to explain to Ian how to reply in threads. You must be going berserk with the PMs, sablon.

Purple Reply button at the top of the thread.
Click it, a box opens for typing a reply post.

This saves the helpful souls the confusion of toggling back and forth from inbox to thread.

Of course, Ian also needs to read the RULES for the use of these boards.

I did explain about postings in an e.mail to you,but you did not listen,It is difficult answering this way as the boards are there for all to see and all to help,.you are reading the posting ,otherwise you would not be answering. Pressing on the name of a person is private mail, for the board you use the posting at the top of the page,Please keep to the board with questions.

To Me it looks like the family folded when ellens mother died and that she did not leave for any reason than that, allso at that age she may have had to move for reasons of where the work was,People did follow work,Like you said, only family can answer that,But todays famlies are not likely to be able to answer your question,It's too far back
