My GGG Grandmother Ellen Talbot(MCDarby) and her baby son were transport from Queens County Ireland around 1842.... to Hobart Tasmania. Ellen was placed in the Female Factory before being assigned to a farmer in the Huon region . Her son Henry William Talbot was placed in the Queens Orphanage at New Town for the seven years of Ellen's sentence. He later became a member of the Huonville Council and also built a church on his property at Ranelagh.Tasmania. .. There are a huge number of descendants ... has somebody done any work on our Talbot Family ... Please... I keep running into dead ends!... |
