I am trying to find the wife of George Grass c1879 in Eccleston, Cheshire.

I am also trying to find the birth years and places of George's children.

The only information I have at present is as follows:
-James (the eldest son) joined the police force.
-George Junior (the fourth son) was headkeeper on the Westminister Eaton Estate in 1959 and he died in 1986.
-Fred was a gamekeeper in Hampshire in 1959.
-Bill (possibly William) was underkeeper for King George V at Windsor.
-Edwin was an officer worker.

Going off the year of birth for their father I would say they were born around the 1900's.

Any information gratefully recieved.

but there is a marriage in same area
George Grass 1904 Apr-May-Jun Garstang Lancashire

Taking a range of birth dates around 1879, there is a George Grass from Eccleston Cheshire in Garstang Lancashire in 1901.

He is single - a gamekeeper - which fits with the sons occupations above.

If this is the right one, then you may need to look for marriages/births after 1901.

There are Grass-Moon births in Chester 1911- 1921.

She could be Elizabeth Moon, but there are a couple of possibilities from the 1901 census.
