Check this out:

WYMARK, FREDERICK VICTOR GREY (1872-1942), bookseller, was born on 6 October 1872 at Stawell, Victoria, son of Frederick George Wymark, a schoolmaster from England, and his Victorian wife Ann, née Sykes. Brought to Sydney as a child, Fred grew up at Woolloomooloo...[more follows]

From http://www.adb.online.anu.edu.au/biogs/A120659b.htm

Given he was a schoolmaster, the family of Samuel above looks promising. Here are Eliza & Sophia's births in Tendring, Essex (I'm assuming Sophia's age should be 3 months):

Births Sep 1839 (>99%)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wymark Eliza Tendring 12 239

Births Mar 1841 (>99%)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wymark Sophia Tendring 12 260

There's a George Glanfield WYMARK born in Tendring in 1838 that fits census but not the other info...maybe it is a different family???

Marriage to Ann was in Victoria Australia (reg 4712). If you don't have this certificate it would be worth getting to check fathers name!

Chn:
Chas Wm 1870-1903, m. Florence Ethel SELLERS 1902
Fredk Victor Gray /Grey 1872-1942, m. Emily Sophia McCURE 1894
Thos Merfield 1875-1937, m. Mary J BURKE 1902
Hubert 1878-1955, m. May CLARK 1918
Lucy 1878-1937 [did not marry]

Lucy & Hubert were twins.

Hubert was a grocer in Balmain and Chas' widow Florence was a grocer and confectioner in Leichhardt. Thomas and his wife Mary divorced in 1914. (Possible remarriage for him in 1916 to Minnie LAMBERT.)

See records.nsw.gov.au
