	Have you looked on FreeBMD for a possible marriage for him? Have you looked for him on a census with a wife? You can search the 1881 census for free.

	What evidence do you have that he married at all? He appears as a Single man, boarding with the Moulton family in Runcorn in each of the censuses 1871 to 1901 inclusive. He is a labourer in a Chemical works
