I am trying to find the parents of my Great Grandmother Selina Halford, she was born in Lightmoor Shropshire in 1851, married Noah Tonks in 1871 they both had the same Grandparents Edward and Ann Halford.
Can anyone help

Her birth cert should give you both parents' names - including mum's maiden name.

Have you found her in any censuses at all?

What name for her father is given on her marriage cert?

And his father as well?

If you had both birth certs you can work out the parents' relationship as well.

thanks for that Seahamlass I haven't found the 1851 census with them on, I sent for the marriage certificate but they couldn't find it so they gave me a different place to try
