my grt grt grandparents were john and elizabeth shelley , john was born in wolverhampton and elizabeth born bethnal green they were married in wolverhampton on april 27 1898, i cant find them on the 1901 census
but by the time we get to the 1911 census they are living back in southwark london, the census states that they had 8 children but only 3 survive Albert born 1906 May born 1907 and my nana Lydia born 1908, is there any where i can find the deaths of the other children{names unknown} collated any where? my grt grt grandmothers maiden name was elizabeth holsley .

I don't know i can't find them on the 1901, Marriage certificate in 1898 states he is a Barman, I did find a John Shelley from wolverhampton, in the 1901 census working in as a Barman in Hoxton london which would fit in with the area that Elizabeth came from .but it states that he is single!!!!!
he may have been desperate for work and said he was single i surpose, and i did look up in other census for Elizabeth Shelley maybe living back with her parents
Jonathan and Elizabeth Horsley, but no luck there either

Sorry was called away from my computer Yes this is the correct Elizabeth Horsley in the 1891 census Elizabeths mother maiden name is stated as Tekell on her birth certificate
I am now also begining to think that this is also the correct john shelley but his Marriage certificate states that he was 21 at time of marriage and that his father is Henry Shelley,
I have sent way for two certificates and they are the wrong ones as Henry is not the father on either of them!!! This also is the only census that I can find the father as Henry on,so i am coming to the conclusion that he states he is 21 on the marriage certificate in order to get married.

age is about right for Elizabeth in 1901 census i,m baffled

I thank everyone who has replied tonight i am still seeking to find out anything about to look up a collated area for the deceased children of John and Elizabeth Iam signing off now will be back tomorrow,
