Richard Gatford on any census!!!!!!

I am really struggling to find Richard Edward Gatford on any census!!!!!!! He married Mary Annie Curtis in Lewisham 1906. I have been told his parents were Thomas Henry Gatford and Charlotte Connelly but I am having trouble finding them too! Charlotte was born 1841 st pancras........but have not got her marriage to Thomas Henry........any ideas
