Member Since: October 2007 Posts: 2 Send Message	My gt g father arrived in Adelaide Sth Australia in 1866 on board 'Hougoumont'. He married a Jean(Jane) Anderson Leavock in 1866/67 then moved to NZ. Does anyone know of him or his wife - I can't find a marriage cert. Thx

	There are quite a lot of Foubisters in Orkney. Do you have any names for his or her parents? First names would help too - unless of course you already have the Scottish census details.

Member Since: October 2007 Posts: 2 Send Message	My gt g father was a John (Leask) Foubister - his mother was possibly Margaret Bews and his father was possibly William(John) Foubister. I think he had a brother called James who came to NZ in 1860 but I cannot prove the link. I have found this family in the scottish census but am not sure if they are the right ones. Johns marriage cert would help but can't find it.
