hello im trying to find information on parents of Constance cook born on 10-07-1919 in coventry i hear her mothers maden name is (Hind) if anyone can piont me in a direction much appreciated.

Nope, the Constance Cook with mothers maiden name Hind was born in Edmonton, London sometime between mid March and the end of June.

Was your Constance definitely born in Coventry? Like Kath, I can't find a Constance Cook (or even Cooke) born in Coventry.

John, buying the birth certificate from GRO will tell you her parents:

I can't find any birth on Ancestry that fits with the details you have given.

Can you tell us how you found her so we can try to pick the trail up.

Where did you get Constances birth date from?

I was told by family members that she may have been but most resiged in edmonton north London so this could be her could you please foward any other infromation with details relating to these individuals many thanks

Probably before you go any further you need to say how she fits into your tree so that we can be sure you are following the correct line. There is no point in providing more information until we know the line is correct.

John, the records we found are for births only.

As I said in my earlier post, you need to buy her birth certificate to get her parent's names.

There is a marriage in 1946 for a Constance D. Cook to a John D. Pearce but without buying certificates it's impossible to tell if the two Constance's are the same person - although it would seem likely. Both the birth and the marriage are in Edmonton.

They're pretty easy to find; right under the box where you type, it says:

and when you click there, it says, among other things,

And then in the instructions when you post a message, it says:
