You need the certificate for Fathers names, as other information found will just be guesses.

thankyou all this is my grandparents.i did know she remarried to a hodge. i didnt know where she come from. this as helped very much. i will request a marriage certif. many thanks .

Julie...Dont know if it is any value but I have just came across a Margaret Furze in Ballycotton Town Co Cork (1911 Census) states she is married 19 years 3 children 2 living...Emma and Ellen ..both stated born England...Mgt states born Devon...no occup.and no husband listed...also not on 1901 Census.

If you pm your email address I'll send you the copy of the birth registration.
Lily was born 20th March 1897 at 3.30am, address James Street, Branderburgh.
Father Charles Ham was a Coastguard, mother Eliza Ham m.s. Bartlett; they were married 5th July 1892 at (looks like Poll, but probably Poole?) Devonshire
Lossiemouth was made up of all the outlying villages. This link may help.
