Trying to find Rutter

I`m seeking information on the descendants of Alfred & Elsie Rutter. My mother`s maiden name was Rutter and her uncle Alfred, a research chemist, emigrated from Birmingham to near Melbourne Australia c1892. Alfred married Elsie Rich and they had 8 children including Kathleen, Marjorie, Clara and Clifford. Kathleen Rutter married Horace Davis in Brighton Beach, Victoria in 1937. They had 2 daughters: Margaret b 1938 and Valerie b 1942. These girls were 2 of 5 grandchildren of Alfred and Elsie Rutter.The other 3 were John, Peter and Jan but I do not know to which of Alfred`s children they 'belong', nor do I know if they married. Margaret and Valerie Davis, now aged 69 and 65 if still alive, may well have married and had children. Similarly John and Peter Rutter, and Jan nee Rutter. Alfred Rutter died in 1940 in Brighton Beach and Elsie in1957. Any information would be most welcome. |
