Find Ancestors

I have memorial cards from mid to late 19 century for a number of families in mainly Hebden Bridge/Heptonstall/Todmorden area. They contain info on dates of birth and death, marriage, address and burials. Families are Crabtree (17 cards) Halstead (2 cards), Nicholl (2 cards), Wadsworth ( 6 cards) and Whittam (2 cards). If you are interested get in touch and I'll let byou have the info. NB many of the cards cross reference each other.

I have jsut read about your cards re the Crabtree name - not sure if you can help me or not. I have a Clifford (Cliff) Crabtree born around 1905 who married Charlotte (Lottie) Smith born London 1910. I know nothing more on Clifford I do have a photo of him. Could he be connected to yours at all. I met him about 50 years ago so I am told. Regards Pat

Just browsing through `trying to find' - this is a long shot but re your message re memorial cards etc., my gr gr grandfather was John Crabtree c1817 born in Moor End, Halifax but have no other
information about his early years. He did marry Lydia Leech of Stocksbridge, Yorkshire and I know of his children but nothing
of who his parents were. Jean

We are trying to trace Henry Herbert Crabtree, and family. He was born in Pocklington York ?, between 1857 & 1862. he died in Mexico some time between 1931 & 1935 age 74yrs. His parents migrated to Argentina some time in the 1800s and he had at least one sibling Angelo Mateo Crabtree, born in Buenos Aires about 1873, His wife was Mexican and her name is Carlota Camacho Crabtree.
I was wondering if any of the information in your memorial cards relates to this line of Crabtree family.

My name is Karla Lazalde, and my gr gr grandfather is Henry Herbert Crabtree from Pocklington, York, England (1860- 1934) , his wife was Carlota Camacho Crabtree, and he had a Brother name Angelo Matteo Crabtree, so I'm pretty sure he is the person u r looking for!
