Trying to find Ozanne

I am trying to find info about My Mum's Uncle William Ozanne B1818 in Guernsey He was a Master Mariner and was captain of the St George about 1855,he died in 1899 and was buried in Castel cemetery.any info I would be grateful for Thankyou

No direct information, I'm afraid, just a link with the family. My mother's cousin (Daphne Turner b. 1925) married Leon Ozanne. Their daughter was Sandra Ozanne (b. 1940).

Hi Esther re your posting dec 05 my wifes family have an Ozanne as follows: Charles Ozanne b1845, he married and they had a daughter Elsie b1878, she married Henry Waye, it is my feeling that the Ozanne's came from the west country or the islands, would be pleased if any connection regards
