Family of chimney sweeps, 'Blackman and sons' William Blackman 67th regiment of foot, South Hampshire 1840-46 based in Canada, Married MARY one son EDWARD BLACKMAN born Montreal 1842-1891 St Johns wood London. Married. Margaret Emily Hunt 1863 Marylebone. William Albert Blackman 1864-1908 Married Lucy Sarah Foster 1884. She died 1885 Married 2. ALICE HILL 1865-1940 d. Plymouth Alice Lucy Blackman 1886- William Edwin Blackman 1888- Henry Thomas Blackman 1889-1949 d. Whitstable wife called Ruth Eleanor Margaret Blackman 1892- Margaret Amelia Blackman 1894- Albert James Blackman 1897-1987 d. Poole Percy Walter Blackman 1899- all resided at 1 st annes court soho- till 1889 then 3 Ryders terrace, St Johns wood. Edward David Blackman 1867-1900 killed at Ladysmith, in the Boer war. Married Amelia Chillestone 1889. No record of children. John Charles Blackman 1872-1947 married Flora Eliza Chaulk 1891. Marylebone. died 1948 George Henry Chaulk Blackman 1892-1911 Lucy Violet Blackman 1894-1986 (spinster) Edward James Blackman- 1896-1980 (married Pash) William John Blackman 1899-1964 (married Rumbell) Ada Beatrice Blackman 1900-53 (spinster) Florence Ethel Blackman 1903-62 ( married Taylor) My Grandmother. Katie Lillian Blackman 1904-84 (Married Lucas) Any infomation on the above ancesters would be greatly recieved.
