Am looking for information regarding my great aunt Mary Jane Smithaman, who was born in Heaton Norris Stockport in 1873. She moved to Aston Birmingham to live with her grandparents after the death of her parents and married a Joseph Robert Hemming at Aston register office on the 28/5/1891. He was a"tube manufacturer clerk"on their marriage certificate and his father was a John Hemming-jeweller.The Hemming family were living at 142 Victoria Road Aston and the Smithaman family at 144 Victoria Road Aston. I have no other information about them and hope someone can help me with anything which might be relevant to these lost members of my family. Duncan Joseph Smithaman Mary Jane Hemming was known as Polly and is believed to have had two daughters.Moved to Walsall. |
