Hello lovely people,
Am after some help having hit a brick wall and as usual am depending on you 24/7 detectives to see if you can crack it!!
Ok...
Hannah Turner born abt 1811 Moreton Pinkney.
Married Jospeh Tilley 30-Sep-1830 in Daventry district.
1841 Census, in Northampton, Lower River Court with Joseph and 4 kids.
1851 Census Green St Northampton now with 7 kids.

Hannah appears to have died or disappeared by the 1861 Census.
Joseph is now with Naomii, much his junior , whom he goes on to marry in 1963. They have the children with them from Hannahs marriage.
I cannot find Hannahs death or being anywhere else in the 1861 census in Northampton.
Any ideas??

Hi Thanks,
I had spotted that one, although I think its very unlikely, theres no association with Mkt H, and as they were in Northampton in 1851, and Joseph is still there in 1861 I can't see why she would have died out that way. Also, as Joseph was with Naomi in the 1861 Census he would of had to have met up with her very soon after Hannahs death if 1860.....

I know we should always expect the unexpected, but I think that would be barking up the wrong tree.
Thanks for looking.

Having searched on Ancestry (although not being a paid member) it seems that others who have her in their tree have a died date of 1st March 1855, But being unable to contact them I can't ask where they found it! I'm paid up on here and can't run to both at the minute!
So, nothing on FBMD, its a puzzle!

Thanks for that, am going to check that one out. Am still not convinced because of the location but in view of it not being what and where it should be, I guess it could just be!
Thanks

Just been veiwing tree on Ancestry.
Says hannah died 1855.
There was William Burt born 1855 to Joseph Tilley and Naomi Burt who he later married?

It also has Hannah born 1/5/1809 died 1/3/1855

So the birth of William Burt and death of Hannah both in 1855 seems to tie in.

Maryb

Hannah 1 of 17 children.

Yes thats right, Joseph and Naomi married in 1863 so I imagine that William, Thomas and Edward took her maiden name proir to them marrying.

All that said, it still doesn't tell me where Hannahs death is registered, which is the bit i'm stuck on.

Thanks
Rob
