Find Ancestors

Please can anybody help me find the mother of Doris Wellman? The information I have so far is:

Born: March 1904 in Birkenhead, Wirral

Father: Daniel Wellman (no date or place of birth)

Married: Arthur E Burns in 1929

I don’t know the name of her mother – it could be Mary Ellen Lewis (b. 1877), from Birkenhead, Wirral.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

This may be her on the 1911 census - I believe there is a Mary in the household BUT not a Daniel

There is no record of a Daniel Wellman in England on either 1891 or 1901 - no marriage before 1950, apart from one in 1876 for a man who died in 1900

It seems my Dad got the wrong name. He remembered a Danny Wellman, but it could well have been his middle name or a nickname, perhaps. All the other info seems to fit in, so it must be Henry.
