Once the will (If there was one) has been proven or probate has been granted I do not think that any minimum time limit for obtaining a copy of the grant would apply. I would suggest that she contact the Probate registry and asks them to conduct a search. The details of how to do that appear on this link:

Well! That was a day and a half :-S

All was going well.


Rood cards.


Nice prezzies.


OH took me out for coffee to celebrate.


Gently pottering around.


Family coming round for Chinese.


Daughter arrives first in a taxi.


Bends to get my prezzie out of the back seat.


Driver thought she had gone and drives off.


Over her feet!


She falls to ground but gets up quickly.


Still able to walk.


Driver horrified.


I take her to A & E.


No broken bones thank goodness - bruising and soreness but nothing serious.


Family arrive.


Son and d-in-l both on painkillers for various ailments.


Nice meal and company.


They all took their ailments home with them.....


and left me to do the washing up :-S :-S
