I cannot find Henry Kirkman on Ships Passenger Lists, so I searched for nearest match to surname, and found a Henry Kirkland.
No matches appear on the right hand side (Ancestry) signifying that there are no further matching records for 'Henry Kirkland' in Australia. That leads me to believe it is a (remote) possibility this is your man....wish I could find stronger evidence though! Without that, we're stuck.

I am wondering if he had altered his surname. There are quite a few Kirk families in the area in 1841 although no Henry Kirk.

I am not seeing any Kirkman families in Clacks. in 1841
