June Brown

June Brown is best known for her role as the chain smoking Dot Cotton from EastEnders.She was born in 1927 in Suffolk.

During the Second World War she was with the Wrens and went on to the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, where she classically trained as an actress.

In 2008 she starred alone in an episode of EastEnders, the first time this has ever happened in a soap opera. In the episode she looked back over her life.

J.K.Rowling was born Joanne Rowling in 1965 in Yate, Gloucestershire. She is a best-selling children's author.

Her first book, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, was published in 1997. She has written six more books in the series and they have all been made in to very successful films. She has said that Hermione from her Harry Potter novels is loosely based on her.

Sebastian Coe, the RH Lord Coe KBE, was born in 1956 in Chiswick in West London.

At the age of 12 he joined his local athletics team the Hallamshire Harriers and soon specialised in middle distance running. He went on to win Olympic Gold medals in the 1500m and set world records for 800m, 1000m, 1500m and the mile.

In later life he forged a career in politics, and more recently was involved with a successful bid to hold the 2012 Olympics in the UK. With an English father and a half Indian mother, his family history is sure to be fascinating.

As a child, Robin's family moved to Brisbane in Australia. He found fame singing with his brothers Maurice and Barry in the group the Bee Gees. Robin and Maurice were actually twins.

He was born in 1956 in Romford, Essex. After leaving school, he began work on local newspapers, before moving to BBC Radio Carlisle and then Border TV.

His mother is Canadian and he had a difficult relationship with his father, so we're sure this is going to be an interesting story.
