It's now the eighth series of 'Who Do You Think You Are', and ten more celebrities are delving in to their own family history.

June Brown is best known for her role as the chain smoking Dot Cotton from EastEnders.She was born in 1927 in Suffolk.

During the Second World War she was with the Wrens and went on to the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, where she classically trained as an actress.

In 2008 she starred alone in an episode of EastEnders, the first time this has ever happened in a soap opera. In the episode she looked back over her life.

J.K.Rowling was born Joanne Rowling in 1965 in Yate, Gloucestershire. She is a best-selling children's author.

Her first book, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, was published in 1997. She has written six more books in the series and they have all been made in to very successful films. She has said that Hermione from her Harry Potter novels is loosely based on her.

Sebastian Coe, the RH Lord Coe KBE, was born in 1956 in Chiswick in West London.

At the age of 12 he joined his local athletics team the Hallamshire Harriers and soon specialised in middle distance running. He went on to win Olympic Gold medals in the 1500m and set world records for 800m, 1000m, 1500m and the mile.

In later life he forged a career in politics, and more recently was involved with a successful bid to hold the 2012 Olympics in the UK. With an English father and a half Indian mother, his family history is sure to be fascinating.

Larry Lamb was born in 1947 in Edmonton, north London.

He is an actor most famous for his roles as Mick Shipman in Gavin and Stacey, and Archie Mitchell in EastEnders.

Emilia Fox is an actress and she was born in London in 1974. She comes from a family of actors. Her parents are both actors, her uncle James Fox is an actor and her other uncle, Robert Fox, is a producer.

Alan Carr was born in 1976 and is a comedian and television personality.

He was born in Dorset, but brought up in Northampton where his father was the manager for Northampton Town and Nuneaton Borough F.C.

Robin Hugh Gibb was born in 1949 on the Isle of Man.

As a child, Robin's family moved to Brisbane in Australia. He found fame singing with his brothers Maurice and Barry in the group the Bee Gees. Robin and Maurice were actually twins.

Richard Madeley is one half of the broadcasting duo Richard and Judy.

He was born in 1956 in Romford, Essex. After leaving school, he began work on local newspapers, before moving to BBC Radio Carlisle and then Border TV.

His mother is Canadian and he had a difficult relationship with his father, so we're sure this is going to be an interesting story.

Len Goodman is a British professional ballroom dance teacher who regularly appears on Strictly Come Dancing.He also runs a ballroom dancing school in Dartford, Kent.

Len was born in 1943 in Bethnal Green, just weeks after the WW2 Bethnal Green Tube disaster.

Tracy Emin is an artist who was nominated for a Turner Prize for her work 'My Bed' in 1999. She was born in 1963 in Croydon, and her father's family were Turkish Cypriot.

In 2002 she carried on the theme of the bed with another piece of work entitled 'Meet My Past'. We wonder what exciting things Tracey will discover when the Who Do You Think You Are team look in to her past.
