Trying to find a death certificate for a Ellen M J Clarke born in 1919, in West Ham area. Shes the mother of a Beryl Ann Cowan, who was adopted out to an Ellen Wakefield. Ellen M J was married in 1940 to a Kitchner Cowan and then again in 1950 to an Edward Clarke, she started life as Ellen M J Webb. The surname Clark varies in spelling, if she is still alive she would be 92 and I am her great-grandaughter. Any help appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you so much, that is both of them! Do you have any idea where I can find out where she was buried? Steph

My family come from Walthamstow and there are many places where she could be buried or cremated even.

If you found out exactly when she died from the death cert you may find an anouncement in the local paper to where her funural was to take place

City of London cemetry could be a start
Chingford mount is another big one
Queens road where my grandparants are

or you maybe lucky to find something here
