Find Ancestors

Good evening all, can anybody please help me to find William Havelock Hughes born 8 jan 1858 in Toxteth Park Liverpool, birth cert states father is Robert Newton Hughes [book keeper] mother Ellen Hughes formerly Anderton of 31 Molville St family are at same address in 1861 census along with brother Charles John 1853 & Mary 1860. I have the death of Robert Newton Hughes 1 June 1865 buried 5 jun in Smithdown Rd cemetry Toxteth Park but can't find any of them on 1871 census. I have William from his marriage to Margaret Barker in 1879 onwards but can't find any trace of Ellen after 1861 census any help much appreciated

Sorry Lesley i don't have Ellens birth date, i have not been able to find anything about her other than her marriage in 1853 & 1861 census

I think that the Ellen on that 1871 is quite a bit younger than Ellen Anderton/Hughes? Age is 30 on the original (unless she fibbed because husband was a toyboy?!)
