FIRSTLY I HAVE A THOMAS COX ( FROM HAMPSHIRE ) BORN AROUND 1826 WHO MARRIED A FANNY MARIA CHIVERTON ( LYMINGTON ) IN 1846 IN PORTSEA.THEY HAD 4 CHILDREN DINAH, HENRY, GEORGE AND FEDERICK. I DONT KNOW WHO THOMAS PARENTS OR SIBLINGS ARE, I HAVE SEARCHED THE RECORDS AND OTHER TREES AND HAVE ONLY GOT MORE QUESTIONS AND A BIG HEADACHE . |

I have looked at the batism and parish records on this site nothing comes up.Will the cetificate show the names as the records dont?? |

This looks like your family in 1851 - looking at the original I would think THomas' age reads ? 41 not 24 (and Henry's 13 not 3). This would make Thomas old enough to be Alberts father |

so their eldest was Albert aged 15 so born c 1836 which would tie with the 1835 marriage |

Is this perhaps Thomas in 1841 - Albert is there age 5? So maybe Thomas was married before. Tis would then allow for the 1846 marriage and the big gap in ages of the first two then second two children. Thomas is an Ag. LAb |
